Course Description

Lecture based design history course exploring the relationship of graphic design in cultural and societal impact through traditional works of art, architecture, music, film, and literature into contemporary examples of social activism and integrative models of practice. Coursework examines the influence of graphic design/designer to activist movements in culture, communication, collaboration and commerce.
