Course Description
Continued exploration and application of design principles and techniques, with specific focus on the digital realm of virtual interactivity, from web, mobile, kiosk and user experience design. Specific introduction to, exploration and application of: design thinking, information architecture theory, user interface design principles, pixel-based typography, and experimental, sequential and interactive modes of communication. Five studio hours.
Prerequisites: Grade of C or higher in ARTD 2020 or ARTC 2210; or permission of instructor. Credit cannot be earned for both ARTD 3055 and ARTD 4050.
