Our GD Program is Ranked Top in the Nation

The BGSUGD program proudly shares that it ranks in the top 50 nationally and top five in Ohio according to Animation Career Review Magazine. Their criteria evaluated the academic reputation, admission and selectivity, depth and breadth of program, value as it relates to tuitiono and indeptedness, and employment data of design programs at 710 colleges. We believe this success is a reflection of the mission and values that guide us and our esteemed alums.

Our program educates and mentors students to become independent and collaborative innovators and leaders in the field of graphic design. Our multi-faceted curricula merges design ideologies and research with appropriate aesthetic and communication methods through intensive critical analysis, exploration and experimentation. Students are taught and trained to be mindful professionals and socio-politically aware stewards for the profession and the world. Our practical and theoretical approach to foster and promote the clarity of communication is the foundation for a progressive and fluid curriculum— one that graduates thinkers with curious minds.
