BGSU Division of Student Affairs 2018-2019 Annual Report

Each year the Bowling Green State University Marketing and Communications Department creates an annual report booklet for the Division of Student Affairs. I was selected to design the 2017-2018 annual report, as well as, the 2018-2019 report shown above. In the past years this report has kept the same layout and overall design and has simply had the content updated. When I was given the job to design the report for the second year in a row, I took the opportunity to redesign the entire layout rather than simply update the content. This annual report has only around 75 copies made and is passed out to some of the highest levels of people within the university, such as the board of trustees. I decided that it was time that the report be freshened up and designed more for the intended audience. That meant that it needed to represent more sophistication and scholarly aesthetic. I chose to design using more white space and lighter colors, while still maintaining the Bowling Green State University brand standards.  This booklet now represents the proper level of sophistication necessary to grab the attention of the target audience.
